IPEDS 12-Month Enrollment: Your Community College

The 12-Month Enrollment component of IPEDS collects unduplicated student enrollment counts and instructional activity data for an entire 12-month period, including estimated full-time equivalent (FTE) student enrollment.

The REGEIS application performs the above calculations and generates an import file to automate entry of data into the IPEDS Web site.  An innovative front-end allows the Office of Institutional Research (OIR), and other designated offices, to view, verify, and filter survey data.  With a click of the mouse, the report can be printed.

Beginning with the 2014-2015 Survey Year, REGEIS has developed a powerful enhancement... full automation of the IPEDS/CDS surveys by schools within an institution. A simple click of the mouse will instantly show 12-Month Enrollmenmt survey numbers by the selected school.

The slides below illustrate the functionality of the front-end.  Clicking on any number instantly “pops-up” the underlying student records.  Pivot tables allow OIR to view the source data, and filter the data by any number of student characteristics, e.g., by school, department, race, gender, first-time, transfer, first generation, etc.
